How to Detox from the effects of Gulf (and more) Oil Spills

What BP Doesn’t Want You to See

Philippe Cousteau, grandson of famous explorer Jacques Cousteau, who went underwater off the Gulf Coast to see first-hand what the Deepwater Oil Disaster looks and feels like. And the answer to the question “What doesn’t BP want you to see,” he came back with: “This is a nightmare.”

This report on detoxification is an emergency extension of the previous post on “Clinical Bioenergetics as the Holistic Cure to Disease.”The 16 May 60 Minutes special on the Deep Water Horizon Disaster in the Gulf was very revealing. Although BP vanity, greed, and gross negligence is officially to blame for this catastrophe, there is no guarantee that they will make restitution for all of the damage.“BP will be made to pay…” is not a promise made in good faith by any politician - especially from one who has made big money from BP - and especially since current law caps the liability of oil company disasters at US$75 million. In a recent report made in respect to the recent Gulf Oil Spill, Effects of Oil Spills on Marine and Coastal Wildlife by Holly K. Ober, Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, University of Florida, There have been six major oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico including the most recent one happening at the moment:

Off-shore oil spills can have a large impact on many components of natural ecosystems. Some of the most conspicuous effects of oil spills are apparent among larger species of wildlife, such as marine mammals and seabirds.

The consequences of oil exposure to marine and coastal wildlife include both immediate impacts on health as well as long-term changes in behavior. In small doses, the presence of oil can cause temporary physical harm to animals. Types of trauma can include skin irritation, altering of the immune system, reproductive or developmental damage, and liver disease…

Carnivorous (animal-eating) wildlife, such as shorebirds that feed on clams, mussels, or worms buried in the intertidal area, may consume prey organisms that have been exposed to oil sediments washed onto the shoreline…

Top predators may become vulnerable to large quantities of pollutants through bioaccumulation (the increased concentration of toxins found at higher level of the food chain)…

History of oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico

The Gulf of Mexico is home to a rich abundance of wildlife, including many threatened and endangered species. Six large oil spills have occurred in the Gulf of Mexico during recent times, providing important insight on how best to manage such catastrophes to minimize harmful effects to wildlife…

Protect Your Health against Flu Virus with UV Light

UV light stick purifies water

February 25, 2010 by Lisa Zyga
UV Water Purifier

STER UV: a new concept for UV water purification. Image credit: Olivia Blechschmidt.

(PhysOrg.com) — Today, about one billion people on Earth don’t have access to clean drinking water, and that number is expected to increase even more in the coming years. To solve this problem, inventors have been trying to come up with water purification methods that are easy, inexpensive, and energy-efficient. A new concept called the STER UV, which is a UV light stir stick, seems to meet each of these requirements.

The UV light stick, designed by industrial designer Olivia Blechschmidt, works simply by being stirred in a glass or pitcher of drinking water. Like other UV water disinfection techniques, the UV light inactivates bacteria by destroying its DNA. The lightweight UV light stick comes with an induction charger, both of which are made of clean, smooth ABS plastic housing.

Since its 23A battery is designed to run for several years, the charger doesn’t require battery replacement. Also, since the device doesn’t produce heat and has no moving parts, it can operate in a way that is more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly compared with other UV water purification systems.

By testing the device in different 1.5-liter containers, Blechschmidt found that the most suitable length of the stirring stick is about 20 cm. In addition, she notes that the conical shape of the stick provides “effective visual clues, great grip comfort and semantics.”

Colloidal Silver Kills Swine Flu, H1N1 Virus and More

I regularly discuss advanced bioresonant technology like Rife Technology at Bioenergetic Spectrum. There are all kinds of electrokinetic therapies that can be used to kill pathogens like viruses and correct chronic ailments without side effects including bioenergetic biofeedback, multiwave oscillators, magnetic pulse therapy, low level laser therapy, and phase conjugate harmonic translation.

The problem is most of this equipment is cost prohibitive for end users. Unless you’re an engineer and you’ve studied these advanced healing technologies, you’re going to be making a major investment in the equipment. Of course, being an inpatient in a hospital costs at least 1,000 times more than the most expensive alternative healing device, so it’s all a matter of perspective.

When it comes to H1N1 which preys upon weaknesses in the immune system, especially bronchial passage ways, this can have deleterious effects. People have died from H1N1, BUT when we look back at the statistics, the same relative numbers and the same types of unhealthy people have been dying from all kinds of flu for millenia. The swine flu scare is being done in the name of greed, not humanity.

In fact, most people have already had the Swine flu - no, not the swine flu vaccine - the swine flu itself, but most people shrugged it off because it’s just not that bad. Therefore, it’s a matter of perspective. (The only ones raising hell about swine flu deaths and swine flu vaccine are the politicians and doctors who work under the drug companies.)

How does Qigong Practice Fight Cancer?

Extracts from Some studies show practising qigong helps to fight against cancer

Cancer survivor Qiu Jia Ming, 65, who suffered from pancreatic cancer years ago, said: “I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer when I was 50 years old and the doctor told me I only had three months to live. But I’ve survived 14 years now…”

“I’m 57 and have been practising qigong for 22 years. I was diagnosed with nasal malignant granulomatosis, a very rare cancer, and doctors said I only had six months to a year to live at the most.

“So when I was discharged from hospital, I didn’t go home. I went to join the Guolin Qigong Club. Doctors said it was a miracle that I survived beyond a year,” said Yin…

Even the head of the cancer rehabilitation club is convinced of the benefits of qigong against cancer. Yuan Zheng Ping was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma 28 years ago and after studying Guolin qigong in Beijing, he started the Shanghai Cancer Rehabilitation Club in 1989 to teach others like him.

“It’s not only a physical exercise, it is also a psychological practice of breathing using rhythmic exercises, thereby taking in a lot of oxygen. This is beneficial because it increases immunity and help fight the cancer.

“We did a survey in 1993 with 1,500 cancer patients and discovered that after five years of practising Goulin qigong, there was about 85 per cent recovery rate. In 2003, we did another comprehensive study and found that out of 7,000 cancer sufferers, more than 60 per cent of them survived for more than five years,” said Yuan…

Even doctors who specialise in Western medicine believe there are benefits to practising qigong. But they said there may be other causes that are helping cancer patients recover from their illnesses.

Gao Yong, a doctor at Shanghai East Hospital, said: “Qigong can help patients forget the pain of the disease. Also, the exercise is a team activity. Practitioners encourage and support each other. There is more confidence when they see others recover. I think this is the real benefit of qigong…

Yes, but how are people living beyond their predetermined “shelf life?”There must be a difference between simply taking in more air during QiGong and getting an oxygen respirator or else all cancer patients would simply get oxygen respirators to live beyond their “shelf life.”

Examining the “Mysterious” Qigong Practice

In fact, QiGong stimulates proper circulation of blood, lymph, and Qi (bioenergy) throughout the entire body through mindful exercise. The four specific types of Academic, Martial, Medical, and Religious QiGong each have a specific purpose within each of their subcategories, but they are all similar.

Medical QiGong is a highly specialized practice for either doctor or patient to re-establish proper circulation in the body for healing purposes. Like martial QiGong, medical QiGong consists of moving and still meditations.

Wai Dan Gung Qigong usually consists of moving meditation exercises wherein we coordinate our breath with body movements specifically designed to stimulate the energy meridians; this increases proper circulation to the extremities including the nails, hair, skin, teeth, and eyes, the five major outlets of Qi circulation which Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioners observe in diagnosing health conditions.

Nei Dan Gung Qigong usually consists of still meditation exercises wherein we use the mind (Yi) to lead the bioenergy (Qi) along specific pathways in the body known as energy meridians. We all begin with “small circulation;” we use Yi to lead Qi along the extraordinary vessels known as governing (yang) and conception (ying) vessels.

The tip of the tongue gently touches the roof of the mouth to connect these yin and yang vessels during any type of QiGong practice. Each school has their personal style of still meditation, but they all maintain the same basic position which is covered in HealingMindN Meditation.

Some people get confused about the energy meridians and you may still be asking how Qigong practice fights cancer.

Quite Simply, the energy meridians are the energetic extensions of the organs in our bodies. For example, the heart meridian is an extension of the heart. When we stimulate energy flow through the meridian, we are stimulating in the heart. Therefore, arm movements such as swinging stimulate the heart.

When we do exercises that induce proper circulation through our meridians, we return our bodies to a proper homeostasis or normal level of physiologic functioning. Stagnation is the disease. Circulation is the cure.

When we have stagnation of blood, lymph, and Qi, our proper physiologic functioning destabilizes; our immune systems lose their effectiveness, and abnormal cells are produced.

You see, what mainstream medical science teaches us about cancer is only half way right. Chemotherapy and ionized radiation therapy kills cancer for sure, but they also kill the patient; these therapies fall within the same dark age protocol as blood-letting.

The swollen egos in mainstream medicine have disregarded pleomorphism, the ability of an organism to transmute from one form to another given the corroborating environment. (Please read about this subject in depth at Rife Ultra Microscope: Bacteria Chronicles.) All a compromised body needs is a virus, or mutated bacterium, to trigger a cascade of sickness.

To put it simply, a stagnant environment produces all sorts of mutations including cancer cells. Once circulation is reintroduced, the cancer cells are slowly but surely flushed away and replaced with healthy cells. Qigong Practice is one way to re-establish that circulation

Qigong Exercises must be done properly to achieve the desire effects, therefore, I highly recommend that you educate yourself and find a school near you that specializes in Qigong.

Thanks for your time.

Nothing clicked the way qigong did.

Lively is convinced that its power “is truly in the mind. You heal yourself. Qigong is about strengthening the mind and heart through focus of intention. You tell yourself to believe it. Our thoughts, minds, emotions and bodies are all energy systems,” she said….

Beck Magnetic Pulse Generator Experimental Prototype

For those of you not familiar with this device, Dr. Robert C. Beck provides a guide for building several DIY self help devices for people who prefer to stay independent of the present mainstream healthcare system which is focused on drugs and surgery. One of these items is a magnetic pulse generator. The principle within this magnetic pulse generator being superior to others is that it uses the strobe lamp as a thyratron, or a plasma switch to dump energy into a coil which creates a huge, sudden magnetic flux upon its activation.

The pulsed coil acts as the primary of a transformer and anything conductive nearby (e.g. living tissue) acts as the secondary in which current is induced from the coil’s time varying lines of magnetic flux.

Allegedly, this device has a measurable output several thousand times more powerful than the famous brand name magnetic pulsers on the commercial market. (This is difficult to determine. Most gaussmeters on the market are highly sensitive to low magnetic fields, therefore, a single, time varying magnetic burst causes them to go off the scale, both analog and digital.)

Theoretically, it can neutralize electro-sensitive pathogens and viruses when activated over lymph nodes and organs, especially nerve sheaths that are untouchable via immune system, white cells or injectables.

This may account for the impossibility of curing certain chronic infections via pharmaceuticals, antibiotics, or other presently know conventional treatments (not including electrotherapy such as Rife which is far more sophisticated).

On to the Mod

I’m using a Chauvet mini-flash, CH-730, 120VAC, 9.6W (25W max) strobe light. The circuit had two 22uF Electrolytic Caps rated at 350V which I have replaced with two 330uF Caps rated at 400V.

Modified AC Strobe light

Click the thumbnail to see a detailed picture of two modified strobe lights. As you see, there is a bit of size difference between the former caps and the new ones. The new ones together are about the diameter of a large double barrel shotgun and I fear they may also have the same amount of power.

The new, larger caps were very difficult to find at this voltage rating. When I found them, I knew they would not be able to fit inside the box. They are stuck on top with hot melt glue which is also used to insulate the contacts.

Fortunately the circuit is fused, but I would like to know what further safety precautions to take. It’s possible that the intense energy could cause something to burn out or explode. I would like to know what kind of shielding or further shunt besides that power resister should be employed.

I have also taken into consideration this pulser should not be left activated. I have taken a further precaution by including an SPST switch activated coil. Switched Coil

Approx. 100 feet of 16 AWG wire is wound on a video cassette reel and housed in a polycarbonate shell. A 6 Amp, 125 V SPST switch is in series with this coil to make manual control easy at the desired site of activation. Between the pulser and the coil, there is an RCA cable (for convenience). Inner conductor and ground have been fused together to act as a large conductor.

Thanks in advance,

Randolph

Thanks to Dr. Richard Loyd for giving me the confidence from his experience in these types of devices. Dr. Loyd told me he ended up using 600uF Caps, so my 330uF Caps are relatively medium fare.Besides the project discused at http://www.royalrife.com/superthumpy.htm, he also told me of a more powerful setup using a 12,000 volt neon sign transformer, a 20 pound, 1uF capacitor rated at 10,000 volts, and a spark gap rather than a thyratron (flash tube). All of this goes to a flexible wire rated at 40,000 volts which the subject winds around the affected body part.I guess the source of my fear was the relative size of the caps in comparison with the rest of the circuit. In reality, the part that will wear out first in this configuration is the flash tube. There are sources for more powerful flash tubes, in fact, I’m even considering retrofitting it with a spark plug, which is still basically a high energy plasma switch. I suspect that the more advanced Beck Generators might have this. I could be wrong. The following video is my personal take on building a Beck-type Magnetic Pulser:

For now, I have a 330uF double barrel, modular magnetic pulse generator that has a very nice “thump” to it. The modular system allows different coil configurations. Rather than simple wound solenoids, I plan on more exotic self canceling coils such as mobius, caduceus, and bifilar that have deliver pure potential with parallel magnetic and electric fields rather than the classic force vector of perpendicular magnetic and electric fields. The basis for this is from two classic articles in bioenergetics on the biological effects of Scalar Energy and Quantum Fields wherein scalar and quantum field coil configurations are more efficacious in the healing process.I’m going under the assumption that a Beck Generator is acting as a short impulse multiple wave oscillator. Scalar and “quantum” coil configurations are more efficient with higher frequencies in the megahertz region. Gated square wave pulses through these coil configurations have provided more efficacious healing under controlled experiments.

To this end, I will probably be leaving the Beck magnetic pulse generator behind for more elaborate fare in scalar and quantum fields. For now, I will make this generator available for other experimenters in magnetotherapy in the Beck Protocol. More to come.

P.S. I’ve decided to part with one of my prototypes - Here’s the manual for those who are interested: Beck Magnetic Pulse Generator Manual. I going to sell it on eBay to help finance more advanced projects. Please see my Twitter Profile on my latest offerings at eBay. Thanks for your interest!

Qigong is Qualitative Energy Healing Exercises

Qigong is literally internal energy work, a means of gaining good health through certain stances used in conjunction with breathing methods; it’s an integral part of one’s internal martial art training like Taijiquan. There are 2000 different types of qigong, broken down into three categories: Self Healing, Martial Arts, and Medical.

Qigong is qualitative because of the type and correctness of the practice that is necessary to achieve ones goal in self healing, martial arts, or medical discipline. This is why discipline is key in qigong like any other training exercise as an art or science: Practice makes Perfect.

For example, at the gyms, we’re encouraged to have personal trainers guide us in order to discipline our exercises, get the most out of the gym, and achieve our fitness goals.

The same is true of qigong. In fact, the theory within the practice of qigong is more complex than fitness science; the scholarly understanding of qigong is more likened to understanding music theory. Within each genre of music, there are different styles of music.

This is also true of qigong: Within each type of martial art, there is a particular style of qigong conducive to that form. Within a qigong medical practice, there are different styles of qigong such as Neigong. Within self healing exercises, there are different styles of qigong that are practiced which are conducive to the malady that is being suffered.

In self help, for example, there’s Qigong for Stress Relief and Qigong for Cleansing - Detox. These are consumer friendly instructional DVDs that apply different styles of qigong according to the maladies of stress and toxification, respectively. These are only 2 styles of qigong out of more than 2000.

The Mainstream Perspective on Complementary Medicine

For this reason, I find the “official” western perspective of qigong disturbing. According to mainstream “experts” in complementary medicine, all qigong is the same, so it doesn’t matter which type you practice. According to their logic, you should get positive benefits for any particular malady no matter what type of qigong you practice, or else it doesn’t work.

Here is a 24 June 2009 NIH report that verifys this perspective:

Internal Qigong for Pain Conditions: A Systematic Review.

Lee MS, Pittler MH, Ernst E.

Division of Standard Research, Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine, Daejeon, South Korea; Complementary Medicine, Peninsula Medical School, Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, Exeter, United Kingdom.

The objective of this systematic review was to assess the evidence for the effectiveness of internal qigong as a treatment option for pain conditions. Nineteen databases were searched through to February 2009. Controlled clinical trials testing internal qigong in patients with pain of any origin assessing clinical outcome measures were considered. Trials using any type of internal qigong and control intervention were included. The selection of studies, data extraction, and validation were performed independently by 2 reviewers. Four randomized clinical trials (RCTs) and 3 controlled clinical trials met all inclusion criteria. One RCT suggested no significant difference for low back pain compared with electromyographic biofeedback. Two RCTs failed to show effects of internal qigong in neck pain compared with exercise therapy and waiting list control. One RCT suggested that qigong is inferior to aerobic exercise in patients with fibromyalgia. There are few RCTs testing the effectiveness of internal qigong in the management of pain conditions. Collectively, the existing trial evidence is not convincing enough to suggest that internal qigong is an effective modality for pain management.

PERSPECTIVE: This review of controlled clinical trials focused on the effects of internal qigong, a self-directed energy healing intervention involving movement and meditation. Collectively, the existing trial evidence is not convincing enough to suggest that internal qigong is an effective modality for pain management. Future studies should be of high quality with particular emphasis on designing an adequate control intervention.

Mechanistic Minds versus Energy Healing

OK, the report keeps calling it “internal qigong.” Qigong is mostly internal exercises - you can bet even money on this. The part that is disturbing is Trials using any type of internal qigong and control intervention were included.”

Therefore, these “randomized clinical trials” were not controlled studies. The report says any type regardless if it is for self help, martial arts, or medical application. The report says nothing about who taught the patients, how they were taught, what exactly they were taught. The report says nothing on how disciplined the practice was.

If someone is suffering from pain, and it’s the first time for their learning qigong, then they’re going to have a very difficult if not impossible time to practice qigong. Qigong in any form takes great discipline that must be cultivated over time. The NIH report says nothing about how much time they took with these pain sufferers. I have so many questions because of all the gaps left by this report:

  • How long did they practice each day?
  • Were they doing the qigong exercises correctly?
  • Were they doing the self help qigong exercises conducive to their particular malady?

The questions keep bubbling up in my mind because there is no quality in that NIH report. Qigong and any other disciplined exercise is all about quality. This is an OMG moment! This report can easily be mistaken as something written by high school burnouts because it lacks so much quality!

I’m sorry, but there have been a number of austere western points of view that have been brutal with me. I’m just returning the favour. I still remember years ago when I wanted to teach Yang Style Taijiquan at my local city recreation center, I got a hold of a rec director who said, “we already have a tai chi instructor.”

Then I said, “I know, you have a Chen Style Taijiquan instructor. I would like to offer Yang Style Taijiquan, so you can expand your offerings to your customers.” Then she said, “we already have a tai chi instructor…”

You see, not only did this person have no understanding of the differences between the styles of Taijiquan, she didn’t care. In fact, I got a lot of the same attitude from a number of “directors” who believed that only one style of Taijiquan is good enough for them.

By the same token, none of the PhD’s who ran that “Internal Qigong for Pain Conditions” study cared about what style of qigong they used. Their logic tells them that “any type” is good enough for them.

This is Mechanistic Thinking. Mechanistic thinking doesn’t apply to energy oriented healing exercises. Energy oriented healing like qigong is beyond the comprehension of a mechanistic mindset. Mechanistic Minds will always fail that which it does not comprehend.

Please remember that qigong requires your devotion to exacting discipline. The psychoneuroimmunologists realise the difficulty of getting patients into alternative medicine programs exactly because they require far more discipline than most ill people have.

Qigong requires commitment and devotion to accomplishing a particular goal using energy breath work. Please keep an open mind and an open heart towards your own healing. When you do this, the qigong exercises come easily and naturally.

Thanks for your time.

Bioenergetic Diagnostics in Alternative Healing is Personalized

Utah-based company BioMeridian provides several technologies for bioenergetic testing

BioMeridian™ is a Utah-based company that provides several technologies for bioenergetic testing. Specifically, BioMeridian develops Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) instruments, including software platforms and acupuncture-point reading devices, for health care practitioners. MSA tests measure energy levels at acupuncture points on the body, and the results of these readings help practitioners evaluate patient health. The goal is to bring areas of imbalance – or poor health – back into stability.

The technologies from BioMeridian are based, in part, on the work of a German doctor, Reinhold Voll, who in the early 1950s discovered how to locate the body’s acupuncture points electronically. Voll was able to show that electrical currents at these points were different from those at surrounding tissues, and further research revealed these electrical readings could be used to diagnose health conditions. An abnormal reading, for example, might indicate lung problems or allergic tendencies. In addition, Voll discovered that certain substances, such as bottles of medicine, produced electro-magnetic frequencies.

Voll’s discoveries contributed to future advancements in bioenergetic medicine, including Meridian Stress Assessment. As mentioned above, MSA systems evaluate energy levels at acupuncture points. The energy measured at these points is thought to flow through human electrical channels, commonly referred to as meridians. Similar to traditional Chinese medicine, it is believed that organs and organ systems are related to the flow of energy throughout the body. Therefore, the discovery of blockages or disturbances in this flow can help health care practitioners identify disorders and provide necessary therapies. An MSA system aids practitioners in suggesting nutritional, enzyme-based, herbal or homeopathic products to support patient health.

One popular bioenergetic testing product from BioMeridian is the MSAS®-Professional. The MSAS®-Professional, an MSA system as indicated by its name, uses an electronic probe to read the energy levels at acupuncture points on the body. This evaluation is read via graphic display on a computer screen and in a printed report. With this information, practitioners can help patients understand how the energy flow in their bodies might be affecting their health. The MSAS®-Professional also provides practitioners with a database of more than 40,000 natural products they can consider for their patients. In addition, practitioners can develop their own protocols and program those into the MSAS®-Professional.

Another bioenergetic testing device from BioMeridian™ is the Vantage™ instrument, which is optimized for BioRep,™ the company’s premier software program. Unlike MSAS®-Professional, the Vantage product does not require a computer. The Vantage, referred to as a bioelectrical impedance measurement (BIM) platform, provides health care practitioners with a quick, affordable way to assess patient health and nutritional needs. The manufacturer claims Vantage has proven itself in clinical trials to offer results in as few as 20 minutes. At no additional charge, BioMeridian includes admission to its Proficiency Training Seminar with the purchase of a Vantage device.

BioMeridian’s EPIC™ probe is integrated for use with the Vantage and MSAS®-Professional products. The EPIC provides accurate, reliable readings of energy flow at acupuncture points on the body. The probe, according to BioMeridian, takes little time to learn and controls for pressure-related variables. Practitioners are required only to place the EPIC’s Sure-Touch® tip on acupuncture points, and the EPIC carries out the measurement.

Here is a three part video series from conscious.tv featuring detailed patient/doctor/nurse interaction during a BioMeridian analysis for preventive health:

As you notice, a holistic bioenergetic session is vastly different from conventional medical treatment in that it’s geared towards personal lifestyle in a very detailed way; this is in direct contrast to conventional medicine that treats people like cars in a repair shop which insists on standardized repair for standardized problems. Here’s a summary:

Allopathic vs. Holistic Medicine
Allopathic (mainstream)* Holistic
(personalized)
Classifies people according to disease and provides standardized Treatments of only the obvious symptoms of that disease while ignoring the underlying cause.

Is mainly interested in standardized drug treatments of all people that can last from years to a life time.

Roots out the underlying cause of disease by identifying and diagnosing the particular weaknesses and stresses within an individual through detailed analysis.

Is mainly interested in lifestyle changes for individuals to keep them from getting ill, thus, preventing the need for long term drug treatment.

*Michael Jackson’s personal mainstream physician caused his relatively early demise because that physician was more interested in serving the drug companies and his medical religion rather than Michael Jackson’s overall health.

Swine Flu, Bird Flu, Anthrax, and more BS propaganda

I’m just no good at playing the starry-eyed gullible zombie or the devil’s advocate, neither are you if you’re reading this.

The latest Swine Flu propaganda by mainstream media is history replaying itself. How many threats of pandemics have we had already (by the politicians and mainstream media) that have never come to fruition? Because they held back the spread of infectious disease with their advanced science? BULLSHIT! Here’s an excerpt from the NY Times that already states how behind the times that mainstream immunologists are:

Swine Flu Vaccine May Be Months Away, Experts Say
Federal officials said it would take until January, or late November at the earliest, to make enough vaccine to protect all Americans from a possible epidemic of swine flu.

And beyond the United States and a few other countries that also make vaccines, some experts said it could take years to produce enough swine flu vaccine to satisfy global demand.

Although production is much faster than would have been possible even a few years ago, it still may not be in time to avert death and illness if the virus starts spreading widely and becomes more virulent, some experts said.

In this country, the biggest problem is that despite years of effort, the country is still relying on half-century-old technology to make the flu vaccines.

Federal authorities have spent years and more than a billion dollars trying to shift vaccine production to a faster, more reliable method — one that involves growing the vaccine viruses in vats of cells rather than in hen’s eggs, the old technology. And there are numerous small companies developing totally new approaches that might allow for the production of huge volumes of vaccines in a matter of weeks.

But the cell-based production is not quite ready, and some of the newer techniques are not proven enough to satisfy many experts….

(Let’s not forget the numbers.)

The government also gave $1.3 billion, spread among several manufacturers, to develop ways of producing the vaccine in vats of animal cells rather than in eggs. Cell culture is less vulnerable to contamination and the process could save at least a few weeks…

But Novartis is building a cell culture flu vaccine factory in Holly Springs, N.C., which might be ready for use in 2010 or 2011. The federal government is providing nearly $500 million in construction costs and guaranteed vaccine purchases….

Do you smell what that money trail is cooking? More Villas in the Bahamas and European Vacations for every Big Pharma CEO who wins a big gov’t contract.

Here’s a little ditty on how big pharma stocks soar when pandemic threats are on the rise:

The swine flu outbreak is likely to benefit one of the most prolific and successful venture capital firms in the United States: Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Thomson Reuters Private Equity Week reported on Friday.

Shares of the two public companies in the firm’s portfolio of eight Pandemic and Bio Defense companies - BioCryst Pharmaceuticals (BCRX.O) and Novavax (NVAX.O) - jumped Friday on news that the swine flu killed a reported 60 people in Mexico and has infected people in the United States.

The OMG moment of the century: Illinois-based Baxter working on vaccine to ’stop’ swine flu outbreak in Mexico, 25 Apr 2009

Specialty drug maker Baxter International Inc. [implicated in spreading Bird Flu by sending samples to labs all over the world which were subsequently “lost”] will work with the World Health Organization to develop a vaccine that could stem an outbreak of a deadly swine flu strain in Mexico.

Baxter spokesman Christopher Bona said Saturday that the Deerfield, Ill.-based company has asked the WHO for a sample of the flu strain. He says Baxter has patented technology that allows the company to develop vaccines in half the time it usually takes - about 13 weeks instead of 26.

[Perhaps they really mean that they will spread the swine flu in half the time it would usually take. Is Baxter International taking a page from the Blackwater playbook? Just as Blackwater/Xe keep on killing to justify their multi-billion dollar contracts to provide ’security’ in Iraq and Afghanistan, Baxter International is poised to make *billions* to vaccinate people against their pandemic.]
More

Here’s a little ditty for Mexico’s mainstream; it’s not as if they’re not enjoying the publicity:

With almost 2,000 people suffering from flu-like symptoms and 22 confirmed deaths in Mexico, the international community is taking the swine flu threat seriously.

The European Union’s health commissioner warned non-essential travel to both Mexico and the United States is inadvisable. The U.S. government has said travel south of the border should be avoided.

Cases of swine flu have now been confirmed in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Israel, bringing the number of countries with confirmed cases to seven, and suspected cases in nine more countries.

The World Health Organization has raised its pandemic alert from level 3 to level 4, which means “a significant increase in risk of a pandemic but does not necessarily mean that a pandemic is a forgone conclusion,” according to its website. The warning notes infection can spread between humans to cause “community-level outbreaks.”

[By contracting Baxter, it is better to call them the World Hell Organization.]

Unfortunately, mainstream press pushes threats, mainstream medicine pushes Tamiflu, a vaccine that was never made for the current strain of swine flu, and the politicians push whatever is handed to them when, in fact, we should be listening to the scientists who are really researching the source of swine flu - not politicians who report whatever is convenient. Politicians are not scientists.

Let’s look at a few excepts from the article, Special Alert: The Swine Flu Pandemic – Fact or Fiction? written by Dr. Joseph Mercola, an unbiased, altruisitic physician who is truly interested in protecting your health, not the fiscal solvency of big pharma:

..On April 27, Time magazine published an article which discusses how dozens died and hundreds were injured from vaccines as a result of the 1976 swine flu fiasco, when the Ford administration attempted to use the infection of soldiers at Fort Dix as a pretext for a mass vaccination of the entire country.

Despite acknowledging that the 1976 farce was an example of “how not to handle a flu outbreak”, the article still introduces the notion that officials “may soon have to consider whether to institute draconian measures to combat the disease…”

This is NOT the First Swine Flu Panic

My guess is that you can expect to see a lot of panic over this issue in the near future. But the key is to remain calm — this isn’t the first time the public has been warned about swine flu. The last time was in 1976, right before I entered medical school and I remember it very clearly. It resulted in the massive swine flu vaccine campaign.

Do you happen to recall the result of this massive campaign?

Within a few months, claims totaling $1.3 billion had been filed by victims who had suffered paralysis from the vaccine. The vaccine was also blamed for 25 deaths.

However, several hundred people developed crippling Guillain-Barré Syndrome after they were injected with the swine flu vaccine. Even healthy 20-year-olds ended up as paraplegics.

And the swine flu pandemic itself? It never materialized.

More People Died From the Swine Flu Vaccine than Swine Flu!

It is very difficult to forecast a pandemic, and a rash response can be extremely damaging.

As of Monday April 27, the worldwide total number of confirmed cases was 82, according to WHO, which included 40 cases in the U.S., confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control. But does that truly warrant the feverish news headlines?

To put things into perspective, malaria kills 3,000 people EVERY DAY, and it’s considered “a health problem”… But of course, there are no fancy vaccines for malaria that can rake in billions of dollars in a short amount of time.

One Australian news source, for example, states that even a mild swine flu epidemic could lead to the deaths of 1.4 million people and would reduce economic growth by nearly $5 trillion dollars.

Give me a break, if this doesn’t sound like the outlandish cries of the pandemic bird-flu I don’t know what does. Do you remember when President Bush said two million Americans would die as a result of the bird flu? …

If you want truly advanced, space age protection against bizarre strains of disease, then please do some research on the healing science of bioresonant energy medicine.

Dr. Royal Raymond Rife was the premier researcher in energy oriented medicine; he discovered that certain plasma wave frequencies can disrupt the cellular structure of different pathogens. A big pharma vaccine needs millions of dollars of testing. A bioresonant device only needs a few minutes of tuning (for free, by you or a naturopathic practitioner). You decide.

Royal Rife’s Accomplishments With Cancer Using Electronic Frequencies And His Breakthrough Microsope Have Generated Quite a Bit of Confusion.

Updated Research: Honey Bees Colony Collapse Disorder

This is an addendum to the posts Bioenergetic Research on Vanishing Bees, Colony Collapse Disorder Honey Bee Research, and Is the Hidden Microwave Infrastructure Dangerous?

Cure For Honey Bee Colony Collapse?

ScienceDaily (Apr. 14, 2009) — For the first time, scientists have isolated the parasite Nosema ceranae (Microsporidia) from professional apiaries suffering from honey bee colony depopulation syndrome. They then went on to treat the infection with complete success.

In a study published in the new journal from the Society for Applied Microbiology: Environmental Microbiology Reports, scientists from Spain analysed two apiaries and found evidence of honey bee colony depopulation syndrome (also known as colony collapse disorder in the USA). They found no evidence of any other cause of the disease (such as the Varroa destructor, IAPV or pesticides), other than infection with Nosema ceranae. The researchers then treated the infected surviving under-populated colonies with the antibiotic drug, flumagillin and demonstrated complete recovery of all infected colonies.

The loss of honey bees could have an enormous horticultural and economic impact worldwide. Honeybees are important pollinators of crops, fruit and wild flowers and are indispensable for a sustainable and profitable agriculture as well as for the maintenance of the non-agricultural ecosystem. Honeybees are attacked by numerous pathogens including viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites.

For most of these diseases, the molecular pathogenesis is poorly understood, hampering the development of new ways to prevent and combat honeybee diseases. So, any progress made in identifying causes and subsequent treatments of honey bee colony collapse is invaluable. There have been other hypothesis for colony collapse in Europe and the USA, but never has this bug been identified as the primary cause in professional apiaries.

“Now that we know one strain of parasite that could be responsible, we can look for signs of infection and treat any infected colonies before the infection spreads” said Dr Higes, principle researcher.

This finding could help prevent the continual decline in honey bee population which has recently been seen in Europe and the USA.

Please keep in mind that parasites attack weakened living tissue. Since Colony Collapse Disorder is relatively recent and not a normal way of life for the bees, then something must be weakening the bees in the first place.

On the other hand, when we google Nosema ceranae (Microsporidia), the information on this parasite has proliferated quite extensively due to much experimentation; it seems to be occuring specifically in Apis mellifera, bees. This emergent pathogen almost seems to be engineered to attack bees. (See Experimental Infection of Apis Mellifera Honeybees with Nosema ceranae)

In fact, according to the following report, Widespread dispersal of the microsporidian Nosema ceranae, an emergent pathogen of the western honey bee, Apis mellifera, this information has already been known for a few years. Please stay tuned for further updates. Thanks for your time.
