		<description>As far as the coil, I hope yours is machine wound. Evidently, the more accurate the wind, the greater the energy output when the magnetic field collapses. There is only so much that human hands can do.

Since you're using the same strobe, turn the lamp away from you and clip the wire on the left side of the lamp for output to your coil. If I remember correctly, that's the anode (-) side. I connected these wires to gold plated RCA jacks wherein the ground and source are fused together.

As far as finding those big caps as replacements, good luck. I'm one of many who have taken a shine to building Beck mag pulsers. I found mine at a local electronic components warehouse geared towards real hobbyists, not frys or radio shack. If you don't have such a warehouse in your area, look up Haltek, Electronic GoldMine, All Electronics and similar. Also look up a SPST switch rated at least 3 amps, 125V.</description>

		<description>I am about to build a thumper using the same strobe light as you did here. What advice could you give me in my build.? I have a good coil already but did not know about the best modifications for the inside of the strobe, i.e. capacitor sizes, etc.</description>
